Departure407607837292020-08-09 Fabulous stay in a stunning part of Wales Can’t recommend this place highly enough. We stayed as a family of five and there was plenty of space, beautifully clean and fresh whilst also being very cosy. Mike and Gretta were so friendly and helpful with lots of suggestions for things to do. We’d have been happy just in the immediate area but the surroundings are so beautiful too - with the estuary just over the hill and plenty of mountains and beaches to explore. We didn’t have enough time and will definitely be visiting again. Swansea482020-08-03 Perfect holiday Just returned from a fantastic week at Farchynys Hall. The location was perfect - close to Barmouth and all it has to offer and also on the doorstep of Snowdonia, Dolgellau, Coed y Brenin etc. The accommodation was excellent: spotlessly clean, very well equipped and very comfortable. It was also it a great spot very quiet and with the opportunity for local walks and exploration. Lovely hosts. Ion S2019-05-31 Enjoyed our stay. Really enjoyed the stay, the house is located in a very quiet and beautiful area surrounded by woods which makes the air fresh, the owners are nice and friendly, it is a very large house with lots of space. I highly recommend it! Safari1421222018-08-19 Lovely stay We stayed here for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and well equipped and in a great area close to Barmouth and other neighbouring towns. The hosts Michael and Gretta were fantastic and very helpful. It was never too much trouble to recommend places to eat or visit and they gave detailed information on nearby walks. I would certainly recommend staying here. rockrider992017-09-02 Spendide et si authentique ! DayTrip7292492017-08-31 Simply magical Well what a beautiful part of the world! Without doubt, a magical house set in magical grounds. Our hosts were lovely and made sure our stay was perfect, which it was. So much to do in the local area, however, straight from the front door are interesting walks with breath taking views. I wouldn't hesitate to go again. Thanks. Journey709162017-08-27 Family friendly manor house in a beautiful setting We stayed with our kids and parents and the house was perfect for everyone. Mike and Gretta are great hosts and took care of everything. They gave us excellent tips on how to plan our day, things to see etc. The location is perfect - peaceful green surroundings perfect for walks and for groceries, food and excellent beach, Barmouth is less than 10 min away! Noe_cherokee2017-08-17 A beautiful mansion in the scenery welsh coast My family and I were in a trip towards Ireland and decided to stop ,close from the Snowdonian National Park. We selected this property from the late 19th century because of its character as well as its location, close to some of the nicest sightseeing in the UK, medieval castles (Farlech) and impressive nordic beaches. The house has a lot of character and keeps the style and character but kitchen and toilets have been completely modernized whilst respecting the charm. The owners live there and keep the place lovely. Garden and woods are incredible. They rent one side of the house so you have full independence but still they are close by for advice. They helped us to select where to eat and what places to visit taking in count time and weather perspective. They were very kind. It's also appropriate if you look for space and comfortable place to relax and prepare your own food. As we have two kids and one baby, really helps if tired from exploring. The house has plenty of games, including a great pool table. And you can walk directly from the property for some lovely walks. If you want to stay in a special place, both in terms of property and location, I would highly recommend it. alexw55312017-08-12 Wonderful accomodation in perfect setting We stayed here for 5 days in August.
